Ukraine October 2012: Lada Samara and ZAZ Sens strong

21,297 new vehicles found a buyer in Ukraine in October, bringing the year-to-date total to 172,040 units. Like last month, the Lada Samara leads the models ranking thanks to 751 sales and 3.5% but stays #2 year-to-date at 6,117 units and 3.6%. The ZAZ Sens is up one spot to #2 with 690 sales and 3.2% and ranks #4 year-to-date. The Hyundai Accent and Skoda Octavia share the third spot at 630 units and 3% both, with the Octavia keeping the YTD lead at 6,692 sales and 3.9% while the Accent is #3 at 5,753 units and 3.3%.

Notice the Geely CK again extremely robust at #6 with 487 sales and 2.3% vs. #9 YTD. Other great performers this month in Ukraine include the Skoda Fabia up 7 spots to #10, the Renault Duster up 20 to #13, the ZAZ Vida at #14 vs. #31 YTD, the Honda CR-V at #22 vs. #37, the SsangYong Korando at #35 vs. #48, the Skoda Superb at #37 vs. #70, Geely MK-2/Cross at #42 vs. #63, Kia Cee’d at #48 vs. #85 and BYD F3 at #74 vs. #123.

Finally, the Lifan X60 is up 12 ranks to #182, the MG 6 is up 2 to #191, the Saipa Tiba up 33 to #198 with 13 sales, the Peugeot 4008 up 48 to #200 and the Geely LC/Cross landing at #202 with 12 units sold for its first month in Ukraine.
