For the first time in 2012, the Latvian new car market is down year-on-year in September at 744 registrations (-20%), bringing the year-to-date total to 7,995 units, up 3% on 2011. While over 8 months 2012 the Nissan Juke was just one unit below the VW Golf, thanks to a very solid score in September the Juke reclaims the year-to-date pole position over 9 months with 311 sales and 3.9% share (+99% year-on-year) vs. 305 and 3.8% (-50%!) for the Golf.

Two Peugeots still follow: the 5008 at #3 with 251 units and 3.1% (+41%) and the 3008 at #4 with 228 sales and 2.9% (+63%), now ex-aequo with the VW Passat (-24%) and Skoda Yeti (+78%). The Opel Astra, VW Tiguan and VW Jetta round up the Top 10. Further down, notice the Suzuki SX4 up to #15 thanks to a fantastic September (#1 with 7.8% share!), the Hyundai ix35 up to #18, the Lexus RX up to #31, the Mercedes ML-Class at #59, Citroen DS5 at #70 and the Bentley Continental GT/GTC ranking #101 with 16 sales, up 139% on 2011…
