New car sales in Venezuela are very solid once again at +10% year-on-year in June to 12,694 registrations, bringing the year-to-date total to 67,579 units, up a very impressive 18% on 2011. The Chevrolet Aveo is leader by far this month with 2,110 sales and 16.4% share, with its total sales at half year hitting 9,705 for a 14.4% market share. Improving on an already excellent month of May, the Ford F350 is up one spot to #2 but sees its share fall from 7.8% in May to 7% at 905 sales, just 6 units above the Ford Fiesta at #3.
Further down, the Toyota Corolla, Chevrolet Cruze and Ford Explorer are all up one spot while the Mitsubishi Lancer is down 3 to #7. The Chevrolet NPR is up 11 to #8, the Chevrolet Spark up 20 to #9 and the Toyota Land Cruiser stays in the Top 10 thanks to government purchases. Notice also the Mack Granite up 18 ranks to #21, the Iveco Daily up 9 to #23 and the Mack Vision up to #25.
