Venezuela June 2011: Ford F350 up to #5
Ford F350
Car sales in Venezuela return to strong growth at +18% year-on-year in June with 11,585 sales, bringing the first half figure to 57,034 units, still down 3%. No surprises on top: the Chevrolet Aveo maintains itself above 20% share at 20.4% thanks to 2,363 sales, it is at 17.2% year-to-date.
The Ford Fiesta is #2 again, improving its market share to 9%. It is followed by the Chevrolet Spark, up 9 spots on may to #3, and the Chevrolet LUV pick-up, down one spot to #4. Excellent performance of the very imposing Ford F350, ranking 5th with 547 sales and 4.7%. The Jeep Grand Cherokee delivers another very solid month at #6 with 524 sales (4.5%).
Other good performers in Venezuela this month include the Hyundai Getz up 7 spots to #10 and the Peugeot 207 breaking into the Top 20 at #16 with 244 sales.
