‘Selamat siang’ from Bali, Indonesia!
Who else would take a pic of himself with a Toyota Avanza, right?
Yep this is good old me posing proudly next to a new generation Toyota Avanaza at Denpasar International Airport, Bali Indonesia. You may not have noticed because I have made sure the updates kept flowing, but I just spent the last 4 days in Bali and it was the opportunity for me to make sure the monthly models rankings I have been publishing were verified in real life…
They do like their Suzuki APV in Bali!
And the answer is: yes! Many many Toyota Avanzas and Daihatsu Xenias in the streets, with the Suzuki APV very much appreciated as taxi, especially in Ubud. In spite of only launching at the end of last year, the new generations Avanza and Xenia are already very well represented: I saw dozens every day I was there.

Plus: there are non-MPV vehicles also selling well in the country, including a Chinese model specially successful with Seminyak taxi drivers… which I will reveal in my next update! I took over 100 pictures in 4 days so expect an updated Indonesian post with many, many illustrations very soon!
