Spain LCV February 2012: Citroen Berlingo reclaims top spot

The Spanish Light Commercial Vehicle market is getting worse and worse this year: after a 17% drop in January, it falls by 28% in February to 3,941 units, bringing the year-to-date total to 7,089 units, down 23% on 2011. #1 over the Full Year 2011 but down to #3 in January, the Citroen Berlingo reclaims the pole position this month with a mammoth 27.5% market share thanks to 1,085 sales.

It is followed by the Peugeot Partner at 16.1% and the Renault Kangoo, #1 last month, at 15.2%. Thanks to this month’s performance, the Citroen Berlingo is now #1 year-to-date as well at 23.2%. Notice the Ford Transit Connect back to its traditional 4th place with a strong 9.1% share while the Nissan NV200 is again way above its 2011 level 0f 4.3% share with 7.2% at #6 this month.
