Hi mangis, just so you know import cars are accounted for by a different organism and are not included in this ranking. In 2011 only the VW Golf managed to rank within the overall Top 30.
      cheers

The names Japanese give to cars are silly and almost stupid.

The Toyota Crown is an institution in Japan. It´s the ideal car for taxis and public & administrative services. Long live the crown!

Big launch for the Aqua! I wonder can it be sustained. We could see 400k + sales globally this year for Aqua/Prius C/Yaris Hybrid. That would be enough to move it on to the World bestseller list in its launch year. I don’t suppose that happens too often.
