YTD-sales in 2012 january and february 2012 of some brands:

    Total US-market: + 13,8 %
    GM – 2,2 %
    Ford + 11,2 %
    Chrysler + 42,0 %
    Toyota + 10,2 %
    Honda + 10,8 %
    Nissan + 13,3 %
    Hyundai + 16,2 %
    Kia + 32,9 %
    Volkswagen + 36,6 %
    Mazda + 47,5 %
    Subaru + 18,8 %

Very successful: Chrysler, Hyundai, Kia, Volkswagen, Mazda, Subaru – growing faster than the market.

Japanese brands like Toyota and Honda are growing, but not as fast as the market so they still lose market-share.

Nissan is growing a little slower than the market, but this brand had a positive development in 2011 although there was the katastrophy in Japan. Toyota and Honda lost market-share in 2011 and are still losing market-share.

The Nissan Altima is selling better than ever, and without a new generation that is coming very soon.
What a leap for the Ford Focus!
