New Caledonia November 2011: Great Wall Wingle leads overall!
* See the Top 10 best-selling models by clicking on the title! Thanks Yves *
Now I know that New Caledonia is a tiny market, but this month it is brought under the spotlight big time. The Great Wall Wingle is the best-selling model in this French territory in November by far with 56 units sold. This almost certainly makes New Caledonia the first territory/country in the world outside of China where a Chinese model is in pole position of the monthly ranking! The Wingle’s previous best was #6 in July.
A few countries have approached this feat but as far as I know none had managed it thus far (if you know otherwise please let me know): Uruguay with the Chery QQ possibly going up to #2 for a month and Madagascar with the JAC Tojoy on the podium at launch are the other two locations where Chinese models have really made their mark. Now it’s done: a Chinese export has managed to beat all other models on sale for the space of a month in one territory. It will be interesting to see which country will be next.
Below, the Ford Ranger and Dacia Duster confirm their excellent year and are co#2 with 37 sales each, followed by the Peugeot 206+, Toyota Hilux and Hyundai ix35. Notice the Kia Sorento back in the Top 10 for the first time in 4 months.
Previous month: New Caledonia October 2011: Dacia Duster and Hyundai H1 strong

Miguel,
As you know commenting in capital letters is equivalent to shouting. Let’s try not to shout at each other ok? I have to delete your comment.
Thanks
Matt
No, it doesn’t. And i tried a bunch of variations. Must be your very specially-built-for-special-smart-people personal computer. Tell you what: Why don’t you do that search yourself, and then post the link to the page that you see? Wouldn’t that be fun?
To anyone else still having doubts, i reccomend a trip to Ford Argentina: http://www.ford.com.ar/ford2010/ Or to wikipedias page on the MKI Focus ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ford_Focus_(first_generation)#South_America ), where i took this quote: ” The Mark 1 Focus remained in production until 2008 in General Pacheco, Argentina for the South American Market. The last of the Mark 1 Focus produced in Argentina (2008 Version) featured either a 1.6 L Zetec Rocam Flex Fuel Engine or 2.0 L Duratec HE Engine or the 1.8 L Duratorq Diesel Engine. Assembly of Mark 2 Focus started in 2008 for the 2009 model.
However, in Brazil, Ford do Brasil offered this until 2009, in 1.6 (Flex Fuel – 105cv gasoline/112cv ethanol) GL or GLX, 2.0 GLX or GHIA (147cv gasoline) hatchback or saloon versions ”
Now, any more name calling from your part?
@Tuga
If there are ridiculous and stupid persons here those one include you! Your unpolite comment does not deserve an answer but only to show you that your stupid as a typical Portuga, go to Ford Focus one 2012 (WRITE IN GOOGLE) and you´ll see the Focus MKI included in the 2012 Ford Argentina range and maybe you think twice and shut up your bad month.
Thanks Miguel, I enjoyed these couple of intense comments…
But if you knew the answer about the Focus One why did you ask in the first place?
Matt
@Miguel
You do understand that anyone on this site can go to Ford Argentina and see that in fact the car they sell is the MKII and not the MKI right? You do understand that you look completely ridiculous.
Or maybe you can’t tell the difference between the two generations.
@Miguel
… so, the answer is yes. wrong information, yours. Thanks a lot Matt, anyway!
@Miguel
… so, the answer is NO. wrong information, yours. Thanks a lot Matt, anyway!
@Miguel
Just write FOCUS 2012 ONE – FORD ARGENTINA in google and there it is: the Ford focus MKI that continues its life in Argentina for 2012. Bravo, a great car!
@matgasnier
Ok, thanks Matt, but it´s no so easy! In the site, I´ve already been there to check it out, this model does not apper, the Focus models sold there is the one sold in Europe from 2005 to 2011, but if you write Ford Focus one in google for instance there`s a kind of prospect with this model beeing sold in Argentina and making part of Ford Argentina model line in 2011.
Wow! it is very good news for this automotive company that Great Wall Wingle is leading overall once more in November 2011. As compare survey report of previous year with this year it shows that Sales of Great wall wingle was upto 56 units. This shows that Great wall wingle is leading over all in November. This is a good sign of success for them.As we compare rankings of Wringle in july it was at #6 and now it has moved to top. This proves that The Great Wall Wingle is the best-selling model in this French territory in November. Semi Dump Trucks
