Canada October 2011: GM trucks beat Ford F-Series UPDATED

The Ford F-Series leads the way again this month in Canada with 6,950 sales, however the twin trucks from General Motors do better and add up to 8,444 units: the GMC Sierra is up 3 spots on September to #4 with 4,639 sales while the Chevrolet Silverado is up 4 ranks to #5 at 3,805 units.
The Honda Civic is #3 and best-selling passenger car with 4,974 sales and is headed towards its 14th consecutive year as the most popular car in Canada... Very good month for the Toyota Corolla up to #7 at 3,508 units, the Honda CR-V up to #11 and the Toyota RAV4 up 11 spots to #16. Notice also the Nissan Versa up 12 spots to #27 and the Subaru Forester up 14 spots to #30.
Further down the ranking, the Chevrolet Sonic is up 21 ranks vs. September to #43, the VW Passat is up a massive 48 spots to #50, the Mercedes M Class is up an even more impressive 60 ranks to #53, the Chrysler 300 is up 28 spots to #61 and the Acura RDX is up 11 ranks to #91. The Chevrolet Orlando, available in Canada but not in the USA, lands directly in 75th position for its first full month of sales in the country at 407 units.
