France 14 to 21 November 2011: Renault Twingo up to #2

The French car market is holding surprisingly well at -2% this week with 41,000 registrations. The Renault Clio leads the way at 5.5% market share thanks to 2,266 sales, followed by the revamped Renault Twingo at 1,722 units and 4.2%. The Peugeot 207 rounds up the podium, a bit flat now that the Peugeot 208 has been revealed, at 1,671 sales and 4.1%.
The Citroen C3 is solid at #4 and 3.9% share, ahead of the Renault Scenic at 3.5% and the Megane at 3.4%. The Dacia Duster continues to impress at #7 and 3% share while the Citroen C4 Picasso shines at #8. The VW Polo is the best-selling import at #10 and 2.4%.
