Netherlands LCV September 2011: VW Caddy most popular

For the first time on Best Selling Cars Blog and thanks to Rutger’s tip, I can share with you the best-selling Light Commercial Vehicles in the Netherlands, albeit with one month delay as these are September 2011 figures.

Volkswagen is a very strong player in this ranking and has two models above 10% market share: the Caddy is the most popular Light Commercial Vehicle in the Netherlands both in September with 622 sales and 13.5% share and year-to-date at 6,146 units and 13.2%. The Transporter comes second with 468 sales and 10.2% this month and 5,321 units or 11.5% over 2011.

The Opel Vivaro rounds up the podium thanks to an outstanding 7.5% share and 344 sales this month, ahead of the Ford Transit at 325 units and 7.1%. The Transit is #3 year-to-date at 6.7% share while the Vivaro is #6. Other good performers this month include the Fiat Doblo up to #9 and the Opel Movano up to #13.
