Argentina September 2011: Renault Sandero up to #2

Another great month for Argentinean car sales, up 34% year-on-year in September at 84,238 registrations. The Chevrolet Classic is solid on top at 5.6% share and 4,689 sales and the Renault Sandero is up 3 spots to #2 at 3,687 units and 4.4%. It is now #4 year-to-date with 23,031 sales and 3.4% share.

Chevrolet Celta

The Peugeot 207 rounds up the podium at 3,356 units and 4% and is up to 2nd place in 2011 with 27,621 sales and 4.1%, passing the VW Gol Trend, down to #5 this month at 3.4% just below the VW Gol Power (Trend=current gen, Power=previous gen). The Ford Ecosport is robust at #6 (3%) and the Chevrolet Celta is up one spot to a best-ever 7th place with 2,471 sales and 2.9% share.

Renault Fluence

Further down the ranking, notice the Renault Fluence reaching its best position so far in Argentina at #23, the Chevrolet Prisma landing in the Top 50 at #49 with 429 units for its first full month of sales and the Renault Duster making its very first appearance in the ranking at #111 with 34 sales.
