Finland September 2011: Skoda Octavia #1, Hyundai i20 in Top10

Car sales in Finland are up 4% in September at 9,982 registrations and a very healthy 14% year-t0-date at 98,767 units. The Skoda Octavia leads the market for the third consecutive month with 486 sales and 4.9% share and is now only 67 units below the VW Golf (#5 this month) in the 2011 year-to-date ranking at 4,531 sales and 4.6% vs. 4,598 and 4.7% for the Golf.
The Nissan Qashqai is up 2 spots on August to 2nd place, its highest ranking so far in 2011, at 429 units and 4.5%, just above the Ford Focus, up 3 spots to #3 with 425 sales, while the Toyota Avensis drops to 4th at 406 units. Other great performers this month include the Hyundai i20 at #10 with 173 sales and 1.7%, the VW Jetta at #16 with 1.4% and the Volvo V60 up 9 spots to #17.
