Panama August 2011: Toyota Hilux resists, Hyundai Elantra #2

The Toyota Hilux reclaims its top spot in Panama with 307 sales in August and 1,981 over the first 8 months of the year. The new generation Hyundai Elantra is up to #2 at 256 units and up to #4 year-to-date with 1,098 sales. #1 in July, the Hyundai Accent is down to #7 in August but stays #2 year-to-date at 1,733 units.
The Hyundai Tucson IX is solid in 3rd position in August (204 sales) and year-to-date (1,632). That’s 3 Hyundais in the 8 months 2011 Top 4 in Panama! The Toyota RAV4 is #5 year-to-date, followed by the Nissan Frontier, Kia Rio and Nissan Tiida, strong in August at #5.
