Spain LCV August 2011: Berlingo and Partner dominate

The Light Commercial Vehicle market is in great shape in Spain this month, up 15% year-on-year at 3,360 registrations. The year-to-date total is however still down by 16% at 40,556 units. The Citroen Berlingo is on top again with 671 sales but only 12 units above its twin brother the Peugeot Partner, #2 at 659 units. Both models are produced in Spain.
The Renault Kangoo is back to 3rd place with 589 sales, above the Ford Transit Connect, VW Caddy, Fiat Doblo and Nissan NV200, reflecting exactly the year-to-date ranking. The Fiat Fiorino is strong at 4.2% share in 8th position.

well, I said the Ford Transit Connect problems in Romania because it is built there too.
In Spain: Citroen Berlingo, Peugeot Partner, Nissan NV200 and Opel Combo “C”
In Turkey: FIAT Dobló, FIAT Fiorino, Ford Transit Connect and Citroen Nemo
Opel Combo “D” will be built in Turkey by Tofas-FIAT at the end of the year.
The next generation of Ford Transit Connect (and Kuga) will be built in Spain due to poor results of Ford in Romania with many problems in that factory.
This you can call globalisation.
4 local built models and 4 Turkish on top10… Next year will be 3 Spanish and 5 Turkish (due to Opel Combo as twin of FIAT Dobló)
