Croatia May 2011: Opel Corsa #1 for the first time in 7 years
Car sales are up 6% in May in Croatia at 3,875 registrations and up 18% year-to-date at 18,516 units. A pretty significant event occurred this month: for the first time since 2004, the Opel Corsa leads the Croatian models ranking with 174 sales and 4.5%.
The VW Polo takes the 2nd spot at 168 units and 4.3%, followed by the Opel Astra at 162 and 4.2%. They are respectively 3rd and 2nd in the 2011 year-to-date ranking, with the Skoda Octavia leading the way at 1,086 sales and 5.9% but down to #11 this month at 2.3%. Notice the VW Passat up 4 spots on April at #4 with 144 sales and 3.7% share.
