Italy February 2011: Alfa Giulietta confirms Top 10 spot

The Italian car market struggles in February at -21% with 161,147 registrations. Fiat monopolises the podium this month, with the Fiat Punto #1 at 6.7%, the Fiat Panda #2 at 5.8% and the Fiat 500 #3 at 3.8%. The Ford Fiesta and VW Golf follow.

Excellent hold of the Alfa Romeo Giulietta, which confirms last month’s 6th spot wasn’t a fluke: it is #8 in February with 3,701 sales and 2.3%, well above its sisters the Fiat Bravo (#12) and Lancia Delta (#25). Notice the Opel Astra back in the Top 10 (#9) and the Ford C-Max at #16 (1.6%).
