Taiwan 10 months 2010: Corolla #1, Luxgen7 #6

Official car sales figures in Taiwan are restricted to the cars produced in the country, and the Toyota Corolla arrives 1st by far over 10 months 2010 with 22,194 sales and 10.5% of the market.
The Nissan Tiida is the only non-Toyota in the Top 5 in #2 with 6.3%, ahead of the Camry, Yaris (both 5.6%) and Wish (5.5%). The new premium brand/model launched by local manufacturer Yulon, the Luxgen7 MPV & SUV storms into the Top 10 at #6 with 9,861 sales and 4.7%.

Thank you very much, I have one more question for you do you know the market share for diesel vehicles vs gasoline vehicles in Taiwan. I have tried at least over 20 to 30 hours to find this and I cannot. If you can find this that would be amazing if not still thxs for the last responses.

If you look on the right column here http://tw.autos.yahoo.com/monthly_topsale.html you can see the ranking for diesel models. The total sales for the Top 10 in March is 944 and typically in Taiwan the Top 10 accounts for 40 to 50% of total sales.
That gives us a total diesel sales of around 2000, or 6% of the market.
