Very particular model ranking in Indonesia where the Top 10 is saturated with SUV’s and MPV’s.
In 1st with 100,065 registrations and a whopping 20.6% market share is the Toyota Avanza, a mini MPV designed and produced in Indonesia, and sold in emerging countries around the world, along with its twin brother the Daihatsu Xenia, #2 here with another 43,409 sales and 8.9% market share. Way, way below at 3.2% is the Honda Jazz, the only passenger car in the Top 10. It is followed by the Daihatsu Terios and its twin brother the Toyota Rush. A newcomer in the Top 10 is the all-new Honda Freed at 8,900 registrations and 1.8% of the market.
