South Korea 2007: Hyundai Sonata and Avante fight it off

Another year with the Hyundai Sonata in the lead in South Korea, however this time the fight is very close with the Hyundai Avante (aka Elantra) at #2: 119,133 sales (+2%) vs. 110,535 (+87%). The Hyundai Grandeur drops one spot to #3 and 88,430 units (+4%) making the podium 100% Hyundai. Below, the Samsung SM5 is up 2% but down to #4, the Daewoo Matiz is up 37% to #5 and the Kia Carens up 26% to get back into the Top 10 at #9.
The Daewoo Winstorm (aka Chevrolet Captiva) is up 11 spots and 88% to #11 and 28,738 sales for its first full year in the country, the Kia Morning (aka Picanto) is up 40% to #12, the Hyundai Veracruz up 319% to #18 and the Hyundai i30 is received with mixed results at #26 with 11,000 sales.
