Portugal 2005-2006: Opel Astra climbs on top of sales

Complete reshuffle atop the Portuguese models ranking in 2005: 4 years after the Corsa, the Opel Astra takes the lead with 12,928 sales and 6.3% share, ahead of the Renault Megane at 12,166 units (-17%), the Peugeot 307 at 8,211 (-13%), the Opel Corsa at 8,010 (-17%) and the Peugeot 206 at 7,701 (-21%). The new Renault Clio III sells 2,194 units in Nov/Dec!
Renault Clio
In 2006 the Opel Astra keeps the lead even though its sales drop by 13% at 11,306 units. Boosted by the third generation the Renault Clio is back up to #2 with 10,473 sales, up 47%, followed by the Renault Megane at 10,312 units (-15%), the Ford Focus at 6,439 sales (-6%) and the Peugeot 307 (-25%). Notice the Seat Ibiza up to #7.
