Luxembourg 2004: Controversial Renault Megane a big hit

This year the very bold new Renault Megane takes the Luxembourg models ranking out of a Golf-induced torpor, increasing its sales by 21% on 2003 to reach the magic number 2,222. The VW Golf for its part loses its crown and 9%, falling to #2 with 1,869 sales.
The Renault Scenic also impresses and jumps onto the podium thanks to sales up 76% to 1,771 units. The Peugeot 206 (-20%), Renault Clio (+15%) and BMW 3 Series (-3%) follow while the Hyundai Getz breaks into the Top 10 for the first time at #7 (+111%).
