Luxembourg Full Year 2017: VW Golf & Tiguan on top, Mercedes GLC #5

New car sales in Luxembourg are up 4.4% in 2017 to 52.775 registrations, with the VW Golf remaining atop the models ranking thanks to deliveries up 13% to 3.5% share and Volkswagen managing a 1-2 with the Tiguan up 50% to #2. The Renault Clio (-5%) and Audi A3 (+2%) are both knocked down one spot to #3 and #4 while the Mercedes GLC storms into the annual Top 5 with sales up 72% on 2016. Mercedes also places the C-Class at #7 (-13%) while BMW has the X1 at #6 (-3%) and the 1 Series at #9 (+6%). The Skoda Octavia also breaks into the Top 10 in spite of sales down 13%, while the Renault Scenic, Audi A4 and Mercedes A-Class exit.
