Norway 2004: Toyota Avensis new leader

Norwegian car sales are dynamic again this year, up 29% year-on-year at 115,645 registrations. After having jumped 5 spots in 2003 to reach 2nd place thanks to its facelift, the Toyota Avensis is the new best-selling car in Norway in 2004 with 6,306 sales and 5.5% share.
VW Touran
The VW Golf is back in shape, up 5 spots to #2 with 5,662 units and 4.9%, ahead of the Toyota Corolla at 5,206 sales and 4.5%. The Peugeot 307 stays very strong in 4th with 4,454 sales and 3.9%, followed by the VW Passat (3%) and the best new entrant in the Top 10: the VW Touran. It delivered 3,303 sales and 2.9% of the Norwegian market for its first full year of sales, and reinforced Volkswagen’s position in the country.
