Norway 2002-2003: Toyota Corolla takes the lead

The Norwegian car market drops under 90,000 units over the period at 88,721 registrations in 2002 and 89,920 in 2003. The lead changes again and Volkswagen gives up the pole position to Toyota with the Corolla at #1 both years at 5.7% then 4.8% of the market.
The VW Passat, leader in 2001, drops to #2 in 2002 and #4 in 2003, whereas the Toyota Avensis jumps from #7 in 2002 to #2 in 2003 at 3,959 sales and 4.4%. The Peugeot 307 delivers astounding figures, #4 in 2002 at 4% of the market and #3 in 2003 at 4.3%. The Ford Mondeo is down to #5 and the VW Golf down to #7.
