Suzukis traditionally dominate the Hungarian car market so this is a very rare occurrence: the Skoda Fabia is the best-selling model in the country in 2003 thanks to sales up a massive 35% on 2003 at 12,087 units. It is however only 81 units above the Suzuki Ignis, already #2 at 12,006 sales for its first year of sales in Hungary!
The Opel Astra, up 40% to 11,882 units, stays #3 and is followed by last year’s leader the Suzuki Wagon R+, down 3 spots to #4 in spite of stable sales at 10,217 units. The Opel Corsa is up 74% and one rank to #5, ahead of the Peugeot 206 and VW Polo.
