USA 1994: Ford F-Series and Chevrolet C/K stronger
Another year of strong growth for the two leading pickups in the USA: the Ford F-Series is up 19% at 646,039 units and the Chevrolet C/K is up 13% with 580,445 sales. This time the passenger cars also post solid showings: the Ford Taurus leads the way for the third consecutive year, up 10% at 397,037 units, followed by the Honda Accord up 11% with 367,615 sales.
The Ford Ranger is up 1% but down 1 spot at #5 while the Ford Escort is up 25% and 4 ranks to 6th place with 336,967 sales. The Saturn at #8 and Honda Civic at #10 make their first appearance in the US Top 10 this year.
