New vehicle sales in Venezuela surge 119.9% year-on-year in 2025 to 38,610 units. This is the highest annual volume in the country since 2013 (98,878). We remain very far from the record high of 491.899 hit in 2007. There’s a spectacular change atop the brands ranking: Chinese JAC (+227.7%) more than triples its year-ago volume to jump from 27.4% to 40.9% share, dislodging Toyota (+79.9%) itself down from 40.4% to 33.2% share. Changan (+47.2%) remains in third place but sees its footprint thaw from 9.7% to 6.5%. Fiat (+66.1%) overtakes Ford (+19.5%) for #4 while Kia (+404.7%) cracks the Top 10 at #8. Renault lands at #10.
Over in the models charts, the JAC Arena (+443.8%) aka JS2 takes the lead with a stunning 15% share, distancing the Toyota Agya holding 10.8% of the market for its very first appearance in the charts. JAC places the La Venezolana pickup (+249.3%) at #3 and the Nevado (+398%) at #4. Leader last year, the Toyota Yaris (+31.4%) falls to #5. The JAC Aventura (+164.4%) advances to #8 while the Toyota Yaris Cross lands directly at #9.
