New vehicle sales in the UAE advance 5.3% year-on-year in 2025 to 335,772 units. This is partly due to the addition of BMW/Mini in the figures. Toyota (+6.5%) outpaces the market to progress slightly to 24.4% share. In contrast Nissan (-10.2%) struggles, down to 14.1% vs. 16.5% in 2024. Mitsubishi (+3.5%) ensures the podium remains unchanged on 2024. Jetour (+82.1%) is the best performing carmaker in the Top 10, surging six spots to #4 and dislodging MG (+10.5%) to become the best-selling Chinese brand in the UAE. Geely (+47.7%) impresses at #6 vs. #12 last year, with Mercedes (+19.1%) and Ford (+13.8%) also solid. BMW/Mini lands at #8.

Looking at the models ranking, this year the Toyota Hilux (+35%) grabs the pole position with 5.7% share. It’s the nameplate’s 4th win in recent times after 2012, 2014 and 2022.
