Peru Full Year 2025: Toyota Hilux and Jetour X70 top record market

It’s a record year for Peruvian new light vehicle sales at a splendid +23.8% year-on-year in 2025 to 186,981 units. Toyota (+18.1%) easily leads the way again but its share drops one percentage point to 20.5%. Kia (+27.1%) reclaims the 2nd spot off sister brand Hyundai (+17.9%) with 9.4% and 8.9% share respectively. Changan (+42.5%) overtakes a struggling Chevrolet (+6.5%) to snap the 4th place overall. DFSK (+9%) is weak but stays at #6. Geely (+112.4%), Jetour (+80.9%), Ford (+57.5%) and JAC (+46.9%) all stun in the remainder of the Top 10.
Over in the models ranking, the Toyota Hilux (+23%) remains the faraway leader with 7.3% share but we have a change below: the Jetour X70 (+71%) climbs up three spots on last year to end 2025 in 2nd place with 2.7% share. It leapfrogs past the Kia Soluto (+2%), Toyota Rush (+22%) and Chevrolet N400 (+23%) aka Wuling Hongguang. The Ford Territory (+95%) and Hyundai Grand i10 Sedan (+286%) break into the Top 10 while the Toyota Yaris Cross lands directly at #10.
