44,694 new cars found a buyer in Wales in 2025 according to SMMT, a disappointing -3% year-on-year loss. The Ford Puma (-16%) is #1 for the 5th straight year with a dominant 3.6% share vs. 3.1% for the #2, the MG HS up a fantastic 32.7% year-on-year. The Kia Sportage (-12.7%) is pushed down to #3 while the MG ZS (-7.1%) stays at #4. It distances the Nissan Qashqai (+13%) up two spots to #5. The Peugeot 2008 (#6), Nissan Juke (#7) and Vauxhall Corsa (#10) find their way into the Top 10.
