Singapore Full Year 2025: BYD takes control

52,678 new cars found a buyer in Singapore in 2025, a sensational 22.4% year-on-year improvement. The main event of the year is the new pole position of BYD (+80.6%) which took complete control of the ranking, reaching a record 26.5% share in October and ending the year at 21.2% of the market. Leader last year, Toyota (-5.2%) is completely over powered and even sold less than half the amount of BYD towards the end of the year. The Japanese carmaker ends 2025 at 14.2% share vs. 18.3% in 2024. BMW (+0.4%) overtakes Mercedes (-4.5%) to climb on the third step of the podium, with Honda (+24.5%) and Tesla (+45.8%) advancing fast below. The Chinese performances don’t stop with BYD: GAC (+255.8%), Xpeng (+179.8%), MG (+72%), Zeekr (+671.7%) and Chery (+517.2%) also post fantastic results.
