Croatia Full Year 2025: Skoda Octavia and VW T-Cross lead again, Opel Mokka up to #5 in record market

The Croatian new car market is in great shape again in 2025 with volumes up 8.4% to 69,140, a new all-time annual volume record. Strikingly, the Top 4 best-selling carmakers all beat the market with double digit gains. Skoda (+12.4%) is up to 13.7% share ahead of Volkswagen (+15.9%) at 12.4% and Opel (+64.6%) surging to #3. Renault (+15.4%) is down to #4 despite solid growth. In contrast no brand in the rest of the Top 10 manages to match the market, with Kia (-18%) and Hyundai (-9.4%) hit the hardest. Below, Cupra (+69%), Geely (+56.5%), BMW (+20%) and Ford (+19.9%) make themselves noticed while BYD lands at #24.

Over in the models charts, the Skoda Octavia (-6%) repeats at #1 to notch a 9th win in the past 15 years but sees its share drop from 6.5% in 2024 to 5.6% now. It ranked #1 for four months. The VW T-Cross roars up 42% to stay in 2nd place with a much improved 4.8% share, ranking #1 three times. Excellent performance for the Opel Corsa, up 51.7% to #3, overtaking the Renault Clio (+16.2%). The Opel Mokka (+317.3%) storms into the Top 20, reaching a record 5th place. Notice also the Renault Captur up 52.8% to #7, the Skoda Kodiaq up 58% to #11 and the Suzuki Swift up 122.8% to #15.
