Moldova October 2025: Toyota RAV4 now #1 YTD, Geely Cityray up to #6

The Geely Cityray hits a record #6 in Moldova in October.

According to data by our local partner CE Auto, new car sales in Moldova jump 72.6% year-on-year in October to 1,666 units, lifting the year-to-date tally up 21.1% to 9,816. This month the Toyota RAV4 (+342.9%) is the standout winner with 7.4% share, and as a result snaps the YTD pole position off the Kia Sportage (+54.9%) ranking #2 for the month. The Skoda Kodiaq (+52%) stays at #3 ahead of the Dacia Duster (+29.4%) and Hyundai Tucson (+195.2%). The Geely Cityray delivers a third Top 10 finish at a record #6 with 3.5% share, with the Top 10 entirely composed of SUVs.
