New vehicle sales in Kazakhstan skid -6% year-on-year in October to 20,205 units, but the year-to-date tally remains at record levels at +14.6% to 181,789. Hyundai (+44.3%) surges ahead to dominate the brands charts with 21.1% share vs. just 13.9% for Chevrolet (-55.3%) in complete freefall. Kia (-21.2%) also struggles but keeps the third spot with 9.4% share. In contrast Changan (+136.7%) and Jetour (+41.5%) both post fantastic upticks to round out the Top 5. Geely (+0.6%) is the only additional gainer in the Top 10, with JAC (-26.8%) and Haval (-22.8%) hit the hardest. Newcomer BYD ends the month at #11, making it 7 Chinese brands among the 11 most popular.

Model-wise, the Chevrolet Cobalt (-67.7%) holds onto the top spot despite imploding year-on-year to 9.3% share vs. 11.4% so far in 2025. The Hyundai Tucson (+30.1%) and Kia Sportage (+19.3%) complete the podium as they do year-to-date. The Chevrolet Onix (+229.9%) and Changan CS55 Plus (+148.1%) both deliver surreal gains below, with the Hyundai Mufasa down three spots on September to #7, remaining the best-selling recent launch above the Jetour X70FL (#16), Chery Tiggo 7 (#17) and Jetour X50 (#18). The Hyundai Santa Fe (+88.9%) and Changan Alsvin (+257.8%) also shine.
