Czechia October 2025: Skoda places 7 models in Top 7, Cupra cracks Top 10
Cupra is inside the 10 best-selling brands in Czechia for the first time.
23,298 new cars found a Czech buyer in October, another strong result at 10.6% YoY. The year-to-date tally is now up 6.6% to 205,735. Skoda (+8.2%) trails the market slightly but still signs a solid share at 37.5% vs. 34.5% so far this year. Hyundai (-10.1%) overtakes Toyota (+17.1%) to #2 despite the two brands producing opposite YoY evolutions. Below a weak Volkswagen (-3.3%), Dacia (+47.5%) is up one spot on last month to #5. Once again sister brand Renault (+65.9%) sports a splendid uptick but not as spectacular as Cupra (+246.8%) breaking into the Czech Top 10 for the first time at #10 with a record 482 sales and 2.1% share. Citroen (+189.1%), MG (+47.1%), Opel (+41.1%) and BMW (+23.9%) make themselves noticed below.
Model-wise, Skoda places monopolises the Top 7 for the 7th time ever after January 2022, April 2023, May 2023, July 2024, September 2024 and March 2025. The Octavia (+13.4%) easily holds onto the top spot ahead of the Karoq (+0.5%) repeating at #2 and breaking its volume record. The Kamiq (+3.9%) rounds out the podium ahead of the Scala (+29.7%) and Fabia (+22.6%) both delivering stunning lifts. The Kodiaq (-5.5%) and Superb (-13.8%) are weak but still manage to insert themselves into the Top 7. The Toyota Corolla (+111.3%) doubles its sales and is the best of the rest at #8. No other Top 10 member is in positive, with the Hyundai i30 (-35%) hit the hardest. The Dacia Bigster (#14) is the best-selling recent launch ahead of the Skoda Elroq (#15), Jaecoo 7 (#19) and Omoda 5 (#28).
