Saudi Arabia January-September 2025: Mazda (+49.5%), Kia (+21.5%) impress
Mazda is the biggest gainer in the Saudi Top 10 through September.
New light vehicle sales in Saudi Arabia gain 6.8% year-on-year over the first 9 months of 2025 to 620,397 units. Toyota (+4.7%) remains the uncontested leader in the brands charts at 28% share and despite trailing the market slightly. In fact the Top 6 carmakers are unchanged on a year ago. Hyundai (+5.3%) comes in at #2 with 15.4% of the market, distancing sister brand Kia (+21.5%) in excellent shape, a weak Nissan (+3.7%) and a strong Ford (+16.7%). Isuzu (+16.5%) and Mazda (+49.5%) also shine in the remainder of the Top 10. Below, Haval (+67.9%), Jetour (+50.2%), GMC (+41.8%), Honda (+22.1%) and Mercedes (+21.9%) stand out further down.
The Hyundai Accent (+7.1%) tops the models charts with a significant margin over the #2, the Kia Pegas (+83.8%): over 8,500 sales. The Toyota Hilux (+3.1%) advances to #3 with the Toyota Camry (-7.2%) at #4. However, when adding Camry HEV totals (+29.6%), the Camry nameplate is the best-seller in the country at 5.5% share. The Hyundai Elantra (+13.1%) stays at #5 ahead of the Toyota Yaris Sedan (-40.7%) and Corolla (+29.6%). The Isuzu N Series (+43.5%), Toyota RAV4 (+40.1%) and Ford Taurus (+34.9%) also manage splendid gains below. The Nissan Magnite is the best-selling recent launch at #43 above the Kia K4 (#46), Jetour T1 (#53) and Geely GX3 Pro (#72).
