Croatia September 2025: Skoda and Octavia on top, Opel Mokka up to #3

Opel Mokka sales are up almost 6-fold year-on-year in September.

4,640 new cars changed hands in Croatia in September, a solid 12.5% year-on-year improvement. This means the year-to-date tally is up 7.6% to 55,738. Skoda (-3.2%) reclaims the brands top spot with 13% share and despite falling year-on-year. Volkswagen (+18.1%) is also up one spot on last month to #2 with 12.4% of the market vs. 11.8% so far this year. For its part Toyota (+21.3%) is up two ranks to #3 and 8.5% share vs. #7 and 5.7% year-to-date. Brand leader for the past two months, Opel (+434.2%) falls to #4 but still surges year-on-year. Hyundai (+26.8%) and Dacia (+25%) also beat the market in the remainder of the Top 10. Geely (+25%) hits a record ranking and share at #12 and 2.3%.

Model-wise, the Skoda Octavia (+17.3%) is back to its traditional top spot with 5.7% share, in line with the 5.8% it commands year-to-date. The VW T-Cross (+71.4%) is up 14 ranks on last month to #2 who the Opel Mokka (+467.6%) soars to third position. The Dacia Sandero (-1.7%) is up seven spots on August to #4 but falls year-on-year. The Hyundai Tucson (+28.2%) rounds out the Top 5. Outstanding performances by the VW T-Roc (+90%) at #8, the Toyota C-HR at #10, the Opel Corsa (+625%) at #12 and the Dacia Duster (+45.8%) at #13.
