Hungary August 2025: Suzuki S-Cross back in charge

The Suzuki S-Cross is the best-selling vehicle in Hungary in August.

8,649 passenger cars found a buyer in Hungary in August, a solid 6.6% year-on-year increase. The year-to-date tally is up a similarly satisfying 7% to 85,562. When adding LCVs, the market stands at 10,418 for the month and 100,845 year-to-date. Suzuki (-0.7%) reclaims the top spot off Toyota (-2.3%) and cements is YTD domination. Ford (+15.1%) climbs three spots on July to round out the podium above BMW (+18.7%) and Skoda (-21.5%). Dacia (+45.8%), Hyundai (+25.3%) and Kia (+13.3%) also shine in the remainder of the Top 10 while below, MG (+388.9%), Renault (+160%), Tesla (+150%) and BYD (+41.1%) stand out. Model-wise, the Suzuki S-Cross (-11%) and Vitara (+37.2%) are back above the Skoda Octavia (-14.4%) with the Toyota Yaris Cross (+15.9%) and Corolla (+19.9%) completing the Top 5.
