In the brands ranking, Volkswagen (+10.6%) keeps the lead at 11.3% share, but Skoda (+29.5%) does better and threepeats at #2. BMW (+5.7%) is stuck in third place vs. #2 so far this year. Mercedes (-3.1%) and Audi (-12.8%) can’t take advantage of the positive market and round out the Top 5 in sad fashion. Dacia (+57.2%) is the best performer in the Top 10, up to #8 overall, with Volvo (+6.9%), Toyota (+6.6%) and Hyundai (+6.4%) roughly matching the market. MG (+225.4%) surges to break into the Top 20 for the first time, directly landing at #15. Tesla surprises with a 15.5% YoY gain.

Model-wise, the VW Tiguan (+31.9%) climbs to first place both for the month and YTD. The Volvo XC60 soars 122.3% YoY and 9 spots on last month to #2, the nameplate’s highest ranking ever in Switzerland. The Tesla Model Y (+31.9%) is in great shape in contrast with some other European markets, and is up to #2 year-to-date. The VW Golf (+48.5%) and Dacia Sandero (+75.3%) both post surreal uptick below. The Skoda Elroq (#6, -1 spot on last month) is the best-selling recent launch again, distancing the Dacia Bigster at #16 (+26), Cupra Terramar at #24 (-7) and VW Tayron at #49 (+9).
