Jordan H1 2025: Toyota Land Cruiser pick-up dominates
The Toyota Land Cruiser Pickup is the most popular vehicle in Jordan.
The Jordanian new car market is in decline over the First Half of 2025 at -5.5% year-on-year to 17,590 units. Toyota (+4.7%) is easily back in the brands leader and sees its market share grow from 31.1% to 34.5%. In contrast Kia (-41.5%), leader a year ago, is in complete freefall, going from 32.1% share to 19.9%. Isuzu (+90.3%) surges ahead to #3, ahead of Hyundai (+10%) more discreet but still in positive. Lexus (+343%) is the best performer in the Top 10 and climbs 5 spots to #5. Suzuki (+132.3%) and MG (+79.8%) also vastly beat the market below. BMW/Mini makes its appearance at #9. Changan, #3 a year ago, has stopped sharing data for this market.
Model-wise, the Toyota Land Cruiser Pickup (+2.9%) advances to pole position with a dominant 11.9% share. The Toyota Land Cruiser SW (+39.9%) is also up one spot on a year ago to #2 while the Isuzu N-Series (+85.3%) almost doubles its share year-on-year to 7%. #1 a year ago, the Kia Sorento (-55.3%) collapses to #5. Excellent scores for the Isuzu D-Max (+108.3%), Kia Sportage (+51.6%), Hyundai Tucson (+32.6%) and Toyota Hilux (+23.6%). Below, the Lexus LX (+280.2%) and Hyundai H100 (+227.7%) stand out.
