The Dacia Bigster is up to a record #13 in Czechia in July.
20,817 new cars hit Czech roads in July, a splendid 19.3% year-on-year uptick. As a result the year-to-date tally is now up 5% to 143,456. Skoda (+25.3%) manages to beat its home market but its share, at 33.1%, is below its YTD level of 34.1%. Hyundai (+45.3%) storms into 2nd place, upsetting Toyota (+10.3%). However Toyota is back above Volkswagen (+5%) in the YTD order at #3. Dacia (+78.8%) once again produces a fantastic score and reaches 5.1% share in 5th place. Renault (+116.4%) does even better at #9 with Ford (+33.4%) also in outstanding shape. Below, Nissan (+222.4%), Cupra (+72.5%) and Citroen (+37.4%) make themselves noticed.
Over in the models charts, Skoda has six models in the Top 6. The Octavia (+32.3%) keeps the lead above the Kamiq (+78.4%) and Kodiaq (+22.2%), all three models outpacing the market. The Skoda Karoq (-1.2%), Fabia (+15.5%) and Scala (+9.1%) are more muted. The Hyundai Tucson (+45.2%) is the best of the rest above the Toyota Corolla (+62.3%) and Hyundai i30 (+20.9%). The Skoda Superb (-24.3%), in great difficulty, rounds out the Top 10. The Dacia Bigster is up 8 spots on last month to a record #13, while the Skoda Enyaq (+574.4%) is up 7-fold year-on-year to #14. The new Skoda Elroq disappoints as it drops 16 ranks on June to #31.
