Croatia July 2025: Opel delivers first win in three years
The Opel Corsa is the best-selling vehicle in Croatia in July.
6,196 new cars found a buyer in Croatia in July, a strong 11.3% year-on-year improvement. The year-to-date tally is now up 7% to 47,453. In the brands charts, Opel (+199%) spectacularly triples its year-ago volume to hit 18.5% share and snap its first monthly win since August 2022. This is the brand’s second best ever monthly share below the 21.8% reached in that same August 2022. Opel now ranks #3 year-to-date. Skoda (+49.7%) is also in great shape but falls to #2 with 12.3% share, followed by Volkswagen (-6%) at 12%. Dacia (+45.8%) is up three spots on June to #4, with the rest of the Top 10 all trailing the market. Hyundai (-29.8%) and Kia (-28.8%) are hit the hardest.
Model-wise, Opel places the Corsa (+109.3%) at #1, its first win since January 2024, and the Mokka (+655.2%) at #2, its highest ranking since April 2022 (#2 also). The Skoda Octavia (+131.1%) is relegated to third place despite a fantastic year-on-year surge, but remains #1 year-to-date. The VW T-Cross (-10.2%) repeats at #4 ahead of the Dacia Sandero (+91.2%) up 15 spots on last month to #5. Excellent scores also by the Suzuki Swift (+193.3%) and Dacia Duster (+82.4%). The Geely Coolray ventures into the Croatian Top 10 for the first time since last October at #9.
