Oman Q1 2025: Toyota places Hilux, Land Cruiser and LC pickup on podium

The Toyota Land Cruiser Pickup ranks #3 in Oman over Q1.

The Omani new vehicle market is very dynamic in this start of the year with Q1 volumes up 23% year-on-year to 18,483. Market leader Toyota (+8%) however trails the market and sees its share drop from 52.7% to a still overbearing 46.3%. Hyundai (+4.7%) is also soft in 2nd place with 5.9% share, while Isuzu (+27.3%) overtakes MG (-13.2%) for third place. Jetour (+256.8%) is the hero of the Top 10, advancing 7 spots on Q1 2024. Nissan reappears in the charts at #6 with 3.8% share. No additional Top 10 member beats the market, with Lexus (-10.2%) is the most unenviable position and Changan (+20.4%) almost matching it. Fiat has a freak score and ranks #11 with 2.2% share.

Over in the models charts, the podium is unchanged on a year ago. The Toyota Hilux (+27.3%) remains the overall best-seller with a stunning 13.7% share ahead of the Toyota Land Cruiser SW (+16.2%) and Land Cruiser Pickup (+25.6%). The Jetour T2 soars 900% to #4, distancing the Toyota Ace (+80.3%) and RAV4 (+47%). The Fiat 500X is responsible for the freak Fiat event and ranks at a very unusual (for the region) 7th place. The Hyundai Accent (+54.2%) also shines just outside the Top 10.
