Yemen Q1 2025: Toyota share drops to 87.8%
The Toyota Land Cruiser holds 29% of the Yemeni market over Q1.
Yemeni new vehicle sales are up 16.3% year-on-year over Q1 2025 to 2,597 units. Toyota still suffocates the market but sees its share drop from 95.1% a year ago to 87.8% now. Lexus (+72.7%), Isuzu, Nissan (+5400%) and Hyundai (+318.2%) follow. Model-wise, the Toyota Hilux (-4.8%) is the leader once again, falling from 43.1% share over Q1 2024 to 35.3% now. In contrast the Toyota Land Cruiser SW (+49.6%) and Land Cruiser Pickup (+34.9%) both soar. The Toyota Fortuner (+17.5%) is up one spot to #4 while the Isuzu N-Series lands directly at #5. The Toyota Prado (-41.6%) is in freefall at #7.
