Greece March 2025: Citroen C3 most popular

The Citroen C3 is the best-selling new car in Greece in March.

First positive month of the year for the Greek new car market at +2% to 12,719 units in March. The year-to-date tally remains in negative however at -9.5% to 33,196. Toyota (+18.1%) vastly outruns the market to easily keep the brands pole position at 13.7% share. It is followed like last month by Peugeot (+21.5%) also in outstanding shape. Nissan (-18.9%) is hampered by high year-ago volumes but is back up 8 spots on last month to #3. The Japanese carmaker ranks #9 year-to-date. Kia (+78.8%) and BMW (+12.7%) are the only additional gainers in the Top 10. Below, Mini (+65.1%), Jeep (+63.6%), MG (+20.6%) and Renault (+19%) all impress.

Model-wise, the Citroen C3 (+12.2%) delivers its first win for this generation and the 5th for the nameplate after May, June and July 2012, February 2023 and January 2024. Leader last month and year-to-date, the Peugeot 2008 (+41.2%) continues to evolve at much higher levels than a year ago and ranks #2 for the month. The Peugeot 208 (+12%) completes a 100% French podium. #1 over the Full Year 2024, the Toyota Yaris Cross (-12.8%) is down to #4 like in February. The Nissan Juke is up 25 ranks on last month but down -20.9% on March 2024 when it ranked #2. Notice also the Kia Picanto (+362.9%), Opel Mokka (+103.7%), Toyota Aygo X (+91.4%) and Hyundai i20 (+81.3%).
