Bahrain Q1 2025: Toyota Land Cruiser leads the way, Jetour T2 up to #4
The Jetour T2 is up to 4th place in Bahrain over Q1.
Bahrain new vehicle sales increase 12.2% year-on-year over Q1 to 9,142. Toyota (-10%) remains the faraway leader but sees its market share slide from 34.8% last year to 27.9%. Nissan (-5.3%) is also in a bit of trouble at 8.1% share vs. 9.5% a year ago. In contrast Lexus (+56.3%) steps up, Jetour (+270.4%) is up 11 spots to #4 and Suzuki (+355.3%) up 13 to #5. Geely (+127%), Mitsubishi (+71.9%), Ford (+44.3%), Isuzu (+36%) and Haval (+29.1%) stand out below.
The Toyota Land Cruiser (+54.1%), which was distanced a year ago by the Hilux and Yaris sedan, reclaims the top spot it has held for 12 of the past 14 years with 6.6% share. The Nissan Sunny (+16.3%) and Isuzu D-Max (+33.5%) follow but the two best performers in the Top 10 are the Jetour T2 (+689.2%) up to #4 from #54 a year ago and the Lexus ES (+208.8%) up from #21 to #5. The Haval Jolion (+35.6%) is up to #6 and the Ford Territory (+69.7%) up to #8.
