United Arab Emirates February 2025: Jetour T2 up to #4
Jetour T2 sales are up 521.7% year-on-year in February.
New light vehicle sales in the United Arab Emirates grow 4.4% year-on-year in February to 25,346 units. This brings the year-to-date tally up 6.5% to 50,116. The Top three brands all trail the market. Toyota is up just 0.9% to 23.4% share while Nissan is also in positive at +1.2% to 16% of the market. Mitsubishi (-20.1%) freefalls but remains in third place. Jetour (+205.7%) is once again the best performer of the month, staying at an outstanding 4th place above Ford (+4%), Kia (+4.7%) and MG (+10.9%). BMW/Mini now share total volumes, placing it at #8 vs. #10 last month. Land Rover (+7.1%) edges past the market growth and climbs two spots on January to #9. Isuzu (+99%), GMC (+70%) and Geely (+47.4%) excel below.
Model-wise, the podium is unchanged on last month and all three models score fantastic gains. The Nissan Patrol (+54%) remains in first place with a dominant 6.5% share ahead of the Toyota Hilux (+51.4%) and Toyota Land Cruiser SW (+50.6%). The Jetour T2 (+521.7%) shoots up to a record #4, dislodging an imploding Nissan Sunny (-44.5%) which however continues to lead the sedan market. The Land Rover Defender (+152.7%), Mitsubishi Montero Sport (+130.9%), Isuzu N-Series (+76.4%) and Nissan X-Trail (+43.5%) make themselves noticed in the remainder of the Top 10.
