Mayotte (France) Full Year 2024: Dacia at 18.6% share, sports 1-2 with Duster and Sandero

Dacia Duster sales are up 43.6% year-on-year in Mayotte.

Mayotte is a French overseas archipelago located north west of Madagascar. Its new light vehicle market is off -9.5% in 2024 to 2,331 sales. Dacia (+6.9%) defies the negative context to overtake Peugeot (-26.5%) and take the lead of the brands ranking with an outstanding 18.6% share vs. 15.5% for Peugeot, Renault (+4%) also improves to 13.5% and passes Hyundai (-13.4%) while Toyota breaks into the Top 5. Over in the models charts, Dacia posts a 1-2 like in 2023 but its order is reversed, with the Duster (+43.6%) on top above the Sandero (-15.2%). The Peugeot 2008 stays at #3 and the Peugeot 208 and Renault Express round out the Top 5.
